TULAIN LAKE

One of the best places I visited this summer is Tulain lake.

Tulian Lake a lake and tourist destination at Pahalgam in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It rests at an altitude of 3,684 meters (12,087 ft) above sea level, 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) southwest from Pahalgam, and 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from Baisaran. The lake usually has lumps of ice floating in it. It is enclosed on three sides by mountains that spread to over 4,800 meters (15,700 ft) and that are covered with snow. It is located in a grassland dotted with pine forests.

The lake lies within the two Himalayan mountain ranges of Pir Panjal and Zanskar.

These are some of the pics during the track to Tulain lake.
